Decontamination with Non-Thermal Plasma (NTP), also known as cold plasma. The technology responds to an unattended need to decontaminate C&B substances which cannot be treated with standard water-based decontamination solutions. There are several cold plasma prototypes to be considered:
a: Atmospheric Pressure Plasma Chamber (APPC)- NTP lab device with 12 l of chamber capacity. TRL 6
b: APPC – NTP prototype with at least 1m3 of chamber capacity. TRL 8
c: NTP device without chamber for confined spaces like vehicles cabinets. TRL 4
